What Flaxseed Oil is
Flaxseed oil is pressed from alsi. It is the oil, not the whole seed. People looking up flaxseed in Pakistan often land on both. Whole seeds are listed separately.
How people in Pakistan use it
Take it cold: a spoon on salad, daal or yoghurt. Do not fry with it. The bottle belongs in a cool cupboard, cap tight, because this oil turns bitter when it oxidises.
