How people in Pakistan use it

Use it on salad, daal or toasted bread, away from a smoking-hot karahi. A spoonful is also a carrier if you are diluting a few drops of rosemary, tea tree or peppermint.

Choosing a pack

120 ml is enough to taste it or to mix a month of hair oil. 500 ml is the usual kitchen bottle. 1 litre is the pantry size. The lighter, cheaper olive oil is a separate product if you only need a carrier.

A plain caution

Heat destroys the point of extra virgin oil. It is food, not a blood-pressure treatment.
